I want to get this one for my photography.. Ya the full frame acts like a 35mm.. My 550D is what I use and my canon powershot sx40hs.. I like my powershot camera because it goes to 840mm I have been able to capture spots on the sun with a Mylar filter..
I bought mine (body only) for about 1500,-- (euro's of coarse).
If you have a 550D now, i suppose you don't need the lens. The standard lens for the 550 D won't fit on the full frame cam, but I have some other lenses so I didn't need a new lens.
Hmm I checked on the web and I see the price has already gone up with 100,-- euro's
